LA FABBRICA DEI NOCCIOLINI

In 1922 Citterio family, in a small laboratory of the village, began churning out sweets that are made according to recipes handed down from generation to generation. Then as now, the Factory of Nocciolini was known for the careful selection of raw materials: for all the recipes they use fresh eggs, cream and fresh milk products and ingredients coming only  from qualified companies. The devoted passion for their work, but also the love for tradition makes possible that the Factory of Nocciolini still proposes those typical products, which have become historical, to whom we owe much of the success: Nocciolini di Canzo, Pan Meino and Torta Citterio. 

To its customers, the Factory of Nocciolini now offers the simplicity of homemade sweets with the quality that only a modern production cycle can guarantee: the right balance between history, tradition and innovation. “Ours is a family business - says the owner, Mrs. Erica Figini - As a mom-manager, I hope my children can continue in the future and expand our business in compliance with the quality that distinguishes us from generations. In every sweet we bake tradition is parallel to creativity and innovation: the perfect combination to never stop offering our customers products with a unique taste". As a confirmation of the success in recent years, Factory of Nocciolini was chosen as a company representative of 'Matching', an event organized by the Compagnia delle Opere, which took place from November 22nd to 24th 2010 at Fair Milano Rho. The secret of success: "Never forget the small workshop where we started and its smell of genuine products".

The Factory of Nocciolini offers many pastry products, but also the traditional sweets of the Lake: Pan Mataloc, a leavened sweet bread with dried fruit, Pan Mein based on maize and elder flowers flour and, of course, Nocciolini of Canzo, the crumbly cookies taste hazelnut .
