Pigra is a little and particular mountain borgo of about 5 km2. It's on a plateau of a mountain behind Argegno.

From here you have one of the most beautiful panorama of the Val d'Intelvi.

There are two ways to reach Pigra: by the road from S. Fedele through Blessagno, or catching the cable railway from Argegno up to the village.

There are many paths for nice excursions, for example to reach Monte Galbiga and the rifugio Boffaloro.
