What about a traditional New Year's Eve Cruise, organized by Navigazione Lago di Como. You can admire the lake and all the little villages by night with dinner on board while having a nice party towards 2012. Or...what about a classic New Year's eve downtown in Piazza Cavour, a big joyfull popular festival will be held on the lakefront area in Como. Starting at 10.30p.m. you can dance together with hundreds of people and after midnight fireworks will light the night up; the fun will keep on going until 2a.m. than you can move in Piazza Volta and continue to celebrate till the morning of Jan 1st 2012!

The holiday season in Como is ready: the ice rink, the Boat Manzoni, Traditional Market with 30 houses and the "restaurant of the Lake" in Piazza Cavour, also the Broletto in Cathedral Square and many other fun activities are waiting for you. For your Christmas presents, you can find many nice ideas in the Christmas Markets.

If you wish to celebrate a very original nNewYear's Eve party, then why don' t celebrate in an Old Train! Yes! You will dine aboard a historic train of 1930 (driven by electric locomotive), completely restored and decorated for the occasion with tables and music, with a trip, refined cuisine, a destination, a show, and finally a surprise breakfast on the way home is what we propose to celebrate the new year with originality.
