With this itinerary you can discover the fantastic scenary from the Parco Naturale della Spina Verde, which offers a series of fairytale views over Lake Como, the city and surrounding territory.
 
 
Brunate is a characteristic hill-top town, called the 'balcony' of the Alps due to its spectacular views over Lake Como, the city, the Lombardy region, the Alps, Monte Rosa, and the mini Alps.
 
 
For treking lovers there are hiking excursions lasting 5 hours. The excursions are easy and enjoyable for all types of fitness levels. The views from these walks are wonderful. 
                    
BOATING EXCURSIONS
 
There are several different itineries regarding the routes that the battello follows. You can find the dates and times of each excursion on the navagation website, and show up 20mins before the departure to insure your place. Starting off in Piazza Cavour in Como, the boats sails up lake admiring the various lake-side villas and historical towns which are sometimes difficult to see from the roads. There are specific excursions which, leaving from Piazza Cavour sail up to Villa Carlotta, Isola Comacina, Argegno, Bellagio and aother points of interest along the lake.

Trek commencing in Torno, one of the most characteristic lake-side towns, where you can arrive by boat or bus, the walk is mainly uphill and lasts around four hours.
 
 
By strolling around the atmospheric cobbled streets of Como, shopping or sightseeing you will be able to appreciate the beautiful city. If you have an hour or two to spare there are tours of some of the most naturally beautiful areas and buildings in the small city. If you have some further free time you can meander through the various markets dotted around the city. 
 
 
For history lovers, we propose different tours describing a timeline through the ages were you can step back in time and appreciate the place yourself. 
 
 
With modern and comfortable motorboats, you can visit and view the most spendid areas on the lake by boat. Areas such as Bellagio, Villa Melzi, Villa Carlotta and the point of Balbianello in Lenno. The lake has only one island at Sala Comacina where you can enjoy a scenic lunch or dinner.
