Festival Como Citta' della Musica

As.Li.Co., together with Regione Lombardia and Teatro Sociale di Como, presents the first edition of a music festival on Lake Como. A music festival on the lake: a festival of which water is a symbol of lively and fluid culture. Music like vivid water flowing through the city and connects its districts and people. Music in all its genres: opera, symphonic, ballet, pop…
A musical festival in a city with an ancient and prestigious musical history, where Ricordi, Foscolo, Bellini and Stendhal used to study and spend their time thanks to the peaceful and fresh air, far away from the roaring noisy city. A lake representing a dear shelter to rest and relax for vips, too.
As a tribute to Como's textile manufacture, a fashion show will open the festival, that will then move to other charming locations in town: the ancient Stadium Sinigaglia, the park of Villa Olmo, S. Abbondio cloister.
