Grandi Mostre Como presenta la Dinastia Brueghel

Is taking shape the 2012 edition of the great exhibition at Villa Olmo, which this year will be dedicated to "the Brueghel dynasty," one of the most important dynasties of Flemish artists developed between the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
After the previous eight exhibitions, permanent exhibitions in the ranking of the ten most visited in Italy, the new festival will be a unique project in major exhibitions at Villa Olmo, it will be for the first time exported to Europe and the United States becoming an event of international: after exposure in the beautiful surroundings of Villa Olmo, from March 24 to July 29, the show will arrive in Tel Aviv, then in Prague, Miami, and finally to St. Petersburg.
The exhibition, which will count 70 oil paintings and 30 drawings and etchings, insured for a total value of over one hundred million euros from important private collections and museums both Italian and foreign, will represent the whole dynasty of Flemish masters. Among the works on show is a masterpiece of Hieronymus Bosch, Pieter Brueghel the Elder who was inspired. The work, part of a private collection in New York, up to now has never been exposed to the public.
