Located in a valley known as the "zoca de l'oli", the town is known for its climate, olive trees, the natural beauty of its location on the lake, and monuments.
The various parts of the Sanctuary Church of B.V. Soccorso were built in different times starting from the main body, which dates back to the 16th century. Its lane with the chapels, which leads to the Sanctuary, is very famous.
Since 2003, the Sanctuary is registered in the list of the Humanity World Heritage.
