Navalia Boat Services Situated in the area of Nobiallo, part of the town of Menaggio, an ideal setting on the western banks of the lake, a characteristic petite inlet labelled the “Portafino of the Lario”.

This area of the lake you can use several different styles of boating; for example from Menaggio - Belaggio and Varenna the water is wide and open, however sailing south towards Argegno the hills taper inwards and water becomes narrow; north of Varenna near Dervio there is a stretch of water crystal clear but windy.

The centre of the lake is a favourite space used by many sporting types, for a leisurely sail around the area and for a delightful evening stopping along the restaurants on the banks of the lakes.

The new tourist port in NAVALIA was created as a reference point for all keen sailors who wish to navigate Lake Como.

The pier was constructed with the environment in mind. The jetties have been fabricated to reduce pollution avoiding stagnate water maintaining clear and clean water around the pier.

 

Around the dock area, three different lengths of floating jetties where constructed in steel with wooden planks in Swedish pine and all boats are docked with plastic protections.

The dock has been constructed in such a way as the wind and waves can not enter the marina - therefore there is no difficulty in boarding, docking or disembarking the boats.

 

Close to the dock there is:

• A large client car park

• The gangway is manned by qualified personnel, who launch and dock the boats amidst the highest safety features.

• There is a 15 foot crane which enables sail boats to be launched and docked without having total down the sail.

• Before or after your boat ride there is a tranquil, serene garden where one can relax and un-wind before or after the boating trip.

• By checking our on-line webcam one can check the boats and assess whether sailing is possible that very day.

• With a wi fi antenna,  one can connect to the internet in all areas of the marina.
