The "Domaso" originates from the term with which they were formerly called the wines from the area above the town of Domaso. Here terraced vineyards, exposed to the mild climate and windy western shore of Lake Como, produce grapes of outstanding quality and value . From these grapes get to drink wines with unique characteristics and style. With the cultivation of its terraced vineyards overlooking the shores of Lake Como, the Sorsasso is committed to safeguarding the local wine-making tradition, cultivating both grape varieties, such as white and Rosseia Verdes, both international as Merlot and Sangiovese. From these grapes go to the White Domaso IGT Terre Lariane , which is characterized by its freshness and the delicate floral aromas and red Domaso IGT Terre Lariane, bright ruby color with a pleasant fragrance of red fruits.

Upstream of Lake Como is a 'mountain area, the Valtellina, the most renowned for producing wines. The valley opens to the view in a vast checkerboard of terraces. On of them is cultivated the vine wine.
The grape is Nebbiolo (locally called Chiavennasca) and it produces the great wines: Valtellina Superiore DOCG with sub Sassella, Grumello, Inferno, Valgella who stole the wood and stone aromas of raspberry, violet, moss wet.
Characteristics very similar in their youth, they differ, as they age, in a series of delicate shades and fragrant bouquet due to the morphological nature of the soil and exposure of the vineyards.
